Jurist (f/m/d) Corporate Governance, Corporate Secretary, Legal

This is what you can expect in our client's legal department

  • Serving as a (legal) key consultant to the board of directors and the management team
  • Legal support for the branches, in particular in general civil law and inheritance law
  • Drafting and revising terms and conditions and contract forms in connection with our client´s products
  • Ensuring that the company's corporate governance framework is appropriately designed and maintained
  • Advising and monitoring that governance structures and processes comply with regulatory requirements
  • Independent processing of contract law issues and contract review
  • Preparation, implementation and follow-up of board meetings, supervisory board meetings and general meetings, including the preparation of minutes and documentation.
  • Providing legal support to all departments; developing practical and legally compliant solutions together with the specialist departments
  • Processing and legal review of internal regulations and processes
  • Drafting and revising loan agreements
  • Processing of labour law issues in the HR department as well as banking, capital market and commercial law issues
  • Support with the implementation and realisation of new regulatory requirements, e.g. currently Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
  • Participation in the further development of outsourcing management
  • Support for the data protection officer (e.g. national and international projects from a data protection perspective)

What the existing legal department team expects from you

  • Completed Austrian degree in law
  • At least three years of banking experience or equivalent relevant professional experience in a law firm
  • Interest in the use of up-to-date technologies
  • Very good German and written and spoken English
  • Sense of responsibility and initiative with a hands-on mentality
  • High level of commitment and resilience
  • Objective and structured way of working
  • Cooperative, communicative and team-orientated personality
