Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on all corporate law matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Act as legal contact for customer and supplier contracts
  • Support and manage legal disputes and proceedings, in particular customer claims and product liability matters
  • Handle the legal aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, and drafting of transaction documentation
  • Manage corporate shareholdings
  • Cover general corporate law matters (e.g. restructurings) and corporate housekeeping
  • Draft, review, and update legal documents such as general terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, and customer and supplier contracts
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess legal risks and provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal solutions

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an Austrian university (mandatory)
  • Admission to the Austrian Bar (or former admission) is considered a strong advantage
  • Three to eight years of professional experience in corporate law, ideally gained in a reputable law firm and/or in an in-house legal role
  • Strong expertise in M&A transactions, corporate and international contract law
  • Excellent knowledge of Austrian corporate law and relevant EU regulations
  • Ability to independently manage complex legal matters while aligning with business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and commercial awareness
  • Fluent English is required (C1 or above); very good German skills or native proficiency are a strong advantage
  • Very good MS Office skills
